Maria works in photography, digital art and video.
Based on the North Yorkshire Moors, she spends much of her time in the great outdoors filming and photographing the elemental landscape, flora and fauna.
Her current project, fuelled by her passion for megaliths, is based around the Rock Art of the North York Moors and the mind set of our Mesolithic ancestors.

I Prefer The Peaceful Darkness
This sheep, although most fond of its flock, likes alone-time too!
On moonlit nights, it steals away to graze in the peace of the dark wood.
